I've had this problem as well under OS X 10.5.4, with both macports 1.6
and a trunk build. It appears to be a problem with apr/apr-util 1.3.2
[http://marc.info/?t=121484641500004&r=1&w=2], i reverted to earlier
portfiles r33831 and r33832 and all was good again. You might want to try
getting portfiles r37364 and r37635 from the trunk and that should work
around it while someone hopefully works out the problem with 1.3.2, i
think there's a fix in the trunk for apr, but no sign of a 1.3.3 release
yet. You may want to let the maintainer of apr and apr-util know about the
problems too.
