 Works here without doing anything manually. Could you try installing again
 after cleaning py-game? I'm thinking it might be the
 [http://trac.macports.org/wiki/LeopardProblems Leopard environment
 variable bug].

 If it doesn't work, please attach the full output of `sudo port -d install
 py-game`.
