 MacPorts 1.6.0 installed from dmg cannot build mpkg. It will clean the
 destroots from depds and will result in an error as they no longer exist.

 Using "-k mpkg" does not fix the problem.

 To work around, one must install from tar.gz source and after the
 "./configure";

 edit doc/macports.conf and change

 {{{
 portautoclean           yes
 }}}

 to


 {{{
 portautoclean           no
 }}}

 Then "make", "make install". This will leave the destroot directories
 intact and allow mpkg to complete.
