 Case-sensitive filesystems are sensitive about character case in file and
 directory names.  HFS+ is originally a case-insensitive filesystem but to
 be more compatible with other Unixes, Apple introduced the case-
 sensitivity option for HFS+ in OS X 10.3.  The MS filesystems like FAT and
 NTFS are also case-insensitive.  The default OS X desktop installation
 creates a case-insensitive HFS+ filesystem by default and, IIRC, the OS X
 server installation uses a case-sensitive HFS+ filesystem.
