#16052: qt4-mac 4.4.0 build does not complete on PPC Tiger

 Building of qt4-mac as part of qgit or py25-pyqt4 build does not complete
 after running for over 6 hours.  Activity monitor showed gnumake and
 cc1plus activities.  Plus a fair amount of disk write activities.  Lots of
 free memory with no page out.  24G of free disk space.  Only ports
 installed ahead of this was mercurial and git-core after wiping out
 /opt/local and re-installing MacPort 1.6.0 from disk image and after
 selfupdate.

 No error messages.  Just terminal output showing build line.

 Environment:
 PowerPC Mac
 OS X 10.4.11
 xCode 2.6
