 Note {{{/usr/local}}} in the path. Apple does not provide anything in
 {{{/usr/local}}} so I suspect you have installed a version of libtiff into
 {{{/usr/local}}}. Having libraries installed in {{{/usr/local}}} is
 problematic for MacPorts. Please try renaming {{{/usr/local}}} (e.g.
 {{{sudo mv /usr/local /usr/local-off}}}). Then clean the port's work area
 ({{{sudo port clean --work aquaterm}}}) and try installing it again
 ({{{sudo port install aquaterm}}}). If this works, I recommend you
 permanently leave {{{/usr/local}}} empty. For any items you had installed
 there, install them with MacPorts instead.
