Comment:

 Reading the referred ticket, this looks like an issue with the multiple
 releases of 2.7.1 and the later tarball has this issue.

 Given that the Scala port uses the latest official release, I'm going to
 close this as won't fix.

 You may want to try re-downloading 2.7.1 and see that that version
 has the same issue.
