 I just uploaded a modified version of your port file (I am very new to
 this so bear with me), I took a look at the fink info file and merged in
 the relevant changes (including their patch file) in order to get the
 dynamic libraries loading properly.  It now seems to work for me (at least
 with Cocoa settings).
