 I am not expert.  I initially had the dependency in there since I thought
 it would need it.  When I was verifying that they worked, I add only the
 dependencies that were required.  To do that, I uninstalled macports and
 all ports and then installed macports.  Then built the port.  So, I had
 X11 installed as it is not part of macports.  If people have not installed
 X11, then I guess the xorg-libX11  would be required.

 Is it easy to remove X11 to do a definitive test?
