 Oops, I hadn't noticed that.

 Anyway, I figured out the problem today when I couldn't install wget
 either. It is all my fault. I had tried to add /usr/texbin to binpath in
 macports.conf, and had used the wrong format. (I still don't know what is
 the right way to just *add* a directory to binpath without having to set
 the entire thing explicitly.)

 This ticket can be deleted now :)
