 PostgreSQL 8.3 introduced a few
 [http://www.postgresql.org/docs/8.3/static/release-8-3.html changes]
 including one concerning casting some types to text; this change causes
 some issues with trac (see trac change sets
 [http://trac.edgewall.org/changeset/6416 6416] and
 [http://trac.edgewall.org/changeset/6512 6512]).  Attaching two patches
 for trac (and the one for the Portfile) which should fix this until 0.10.5
 (or 0.11) is released to fix it.
