Comment:

 Gnucash 2.2.4 made it into svn in r35110. Please reproduce your error on
 this version and reopen the ticket if required. Please add detailed
 information on how to reproduce it. I managed to compile gnucash with
 --enable-binreloc and then it dies on opening /proc/self/map which of
 course does not exist. On the other hand I still see the binreloc message
 "relocation support was disabled at configure time." using the standard
 port install, which is true on the one hand and which does not cause
 gnucash to terminate during launch on the other. It is just a message. You
 can safely ignore it.
