 This may not be the right place to ask but:

 1) Is it possible to make the firefox-x11 port honor the profile(s)
 created by firefox(-carbon) (manually installed dmg from mozilla.org)?
 IINM, firefox-x11 stores this in ~/.mozilla while firefox(-carbon) stores
 this in ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox.   Wondering if there is a
 way to get firefox-x11 to load a profile in ~/Library/Application
 Support/Firefox (its extensions, preferences, bookmarks, cache, cookies,
 etc.)

 2) Have there been any attempts/progress at getting firefox(-carbon)
 and/or camino into the MacPorts tree?  If compiling firefox(-carbon)
 successfully is too much trouble, how about a binary version (like the
 default variant use_binary used by the abiword port) that simply uses the
 dmg from mozilla.org?
