 The configure script for FOX should automatically add that include path
 (-I/opt/local/include/freetype2) since we're configuring the build with
 the "--with-xft" setting. I've just verified that it's working properly by
 uninstalling and then reinstalling the FOX port.

 Will, what do you get when you type "pkg-config --cflags xft" at the
 command line?
