 Here is a Portfile submission (with diff against current trunk) for
 upgrading the octave port to version 3.0.1. The patch files currently
 present in trunk are no longer necessary.

 This Portfile has been tested on an intel Mac running 10.5.2.

 I have not added myself as maintainer for this port, but am ready to do
 so.
