 I [http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/freetype/2008-05/msg00026.html
 reported it] on the freetype mailing list and a workaround was given: add
 the `-isysroot` parameter in the LDFLAGS too (in addition to in the
 CFLAGS, where MacPorts already puts it). I see we've already used this
 workaround in a few other ports (libiconv, unrar, xrender, XviD) and it
 does appear to work for freetype too. Fixed in r37039.
