 For ports that have homepages/master_sites served over https the
 `fetch.ignore_sslcert` keyword is supposed to tell port to ignore the ssl
 cert associated with the secure server. When fetching the distfile this is
 honoured, but when performing a livecheck or a distcheck the process fails
 with an error of the form:

 Error: cannot check if metaio was updated (peer certificate cannot be
 authenticated with known CA certificates)
