 Which one? Has a bug been reported against this port? Perhaps a fix is

 I don't think this is really a problem. Upgrades often introduce bugs, and
 this is not specific to perl. On the other hand, old bugs are also fixed.

 5.10.0 is the stable release and the 5.8 branch is no longer maintained.
 When 5.10.0 was released, it was in a testing status, but this was 10
 months ago, and IMHO, this status now is out-of-date.
