Comment:

 The normal method for taking over a port is discussed in
 [http://guide.macports.org/#project.update-policies.abandonment the
 guide]; since #16022 doesn't have any comment from the current maintainer,
 and apparently other discussion happened offline, can the current
 maintainer either comment here or email me at blb at macports.org to
 confirm dropping maintainership?  Thanks.
