 none of the 4 alternate download site contain the hdf5-1.6.7 tarball
 that's require to build hdf5.
 The main site (hdfgroup.org) has switched to 1.6.8 (they pull 1.6.7
 obviously).
 The 3 alternate download sites either do not exist or do not have the
 tarball.
