 Hard to tell what's going on, it works for me as well on a MBP, 10.5.5,
 Xcode 3.1.1, both with MacPorts from trunk and 1.6.  The trunk MacPorts
 linked against the libpcap port, but the 1.6 MacPorts linked against the
 system libpcap; other than that, it just links against standard libraries.

 I take it en1 is the right interface for it to be using?
