 I have commit rights, but I'm not going to exercise them until I get an
 all-clear from the macport gurus on this one.  Despite the issue with
 activation, this port installation seems to work for me.  I do get a
 functional pydb utility.  However, the activation issue may be a problem
 for general macport functionality, so I hesitate to commit on this as is.

 Advice?
