 Replying to [comment:1 blb@…]:

 port, so I'm not sure why port said the file didn't belong to a port.  To
 fix this just force the ncursesw activation with {{{sudo port -f activate
 ncursesw @5.7_0}}}.

 Forgot co comment this...

 Running {{{sudo port -f activate ncursesw @5.7_0}}} did the trick but
 threw some errors because some of the files did already exist.
