 Some success: I was able to compile ghc-6.10.1 from source on Mac OS X
 Leopard (10.5.5) on a powerpc G4 with XCode 3.1.  I used a bootstrap
 ghc-6.10.1 from Christian Maeder's ppc/Tiger 6.10.1 binary.
