 I have just made a fresh installation, after deleting a previous
 installation as explained in Section 2.3.4 of the guide:

    [http://guide.macports.org/#installing.macports]

 Then, the first port I tried to install was lablgtk2, and I got this error
 message.
 I get it too when I try to install some of the other ports.
