 I can confirm that moving back to gconf @2.22.0_0 fixes this bug. I've
 opened a ticket for the [http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=555187
 gconf people], but will leave this ticket, just in case the bug is
 actually unrelated to gconf.
