This is an update to version 3.0.0 for libpqxx, which is incompatible with
libpqxx version 2.6.9 (the prior version). A new port is in submission
for libpqxx26 for any dependencies on that version.
A new port was submitted for libpqxx30, but it can be withdrawn. The
approach going forward will be to update libpqxx to the latest release
candidate. Older versions will become new ports with version specific
names (eg, libpqxx<intMajor><intMinor>).

Comment(by dweber at macports.org):
For the record, this Portfile contains a testing section that is disabled.
Until I can learn more about the testing process, it will remain disabled.
Once I have figured out how to "debug" the tests, I hope to enable
something. Please leave it in the Portfile as is, as I hope it will be
useful later. If for some reason, the pre-test and post-test operations
are actually performed, even when test.run=no, then please remove those
sections entirely (comment them out would be good).
