 I use rrdtool with the Perl module RRDs. While I had no problems with
 rrdtool 1.2.27, RRDs::update from version 1.3.4 (with the patches for bugs
 #16165 and #16505) no longer updates the timestamp of the database when
 doing an update.

 This is quite an important bug, as this means silent dataloss under some
 conditions (e.g. when the file is handled by Subversion).
