 It looks like it could have been the
 [wiki:LeopardProblems#environmentvariablesbecomeblankbetweenconfigureandbuildphases
 Tcl env bug] since this looks like an env var could have been empty:
 {{{
 Command output: Wall -Wconversion -O3 -fPIC -c svm.cpp
 }}}
 Considering a clean/build then got it to work, that's the usual workaround
 for this issue.
