 I am new to Mac and when I tried installing NS-2 on it from Macports it
 gave me the following error:

 configure: error: Installation of tk seems incomplete or can't be found
 automatically.
 Please correct the problem by telling configure where tk is
 using the argument --with-tk=/path/to/package
 (perhaps after installing it),
 or the package is not required, disable it with --with-tk=no.

 Error: The following dependencies failed to build: tclcl otcl
 Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.

 I had installed TK from macports prior to installing NS-2 and the file
 tk.tcl is loacted at /opt/local/lib/tk8.5.
