Comment:

 If you install libiconv, and try it again, does that help?

 sudo port install libiconv
 sudo port install i386-elf-gcc
 }}}
 Also, you should not need to specify the full path to the port command if
 you are setup correctly. See the
 [http://trac.macports.org/wiki/ProblemHotlist Problem Hotlist] if you find
 yourself needing that.
