Comment:

 It's not written in stone, but I don't see it as a problem (I am pretty
 sure that that line was written by a previous maintainer sometime in 2004
 or earlier).

 I also use both and svn was initially designed to deal with some
 shortcomings of CVS, so while it's a bit silly, I think the description is
 apt.

 If you have a suggestion for improvement, let me know.
