Comment:

 Two notes:
  - the configure.args entry can be removed since the listed bindir is the
 default and the port doesn't install any man pages
  - since it doesn't install man pages, how about adding the docs in a
 post-destroot?

 I've attached my updated version, if it looks good I can commit it.
