 same problem here. managed to workaround by hand-editing
 /usr/include/X11/Xpoll.h according to the patch in #12991 . 'port' also
 states this file is not owned by a macport, so I am supposing the standard
 Apple X11 package supplies it. not sure how this is normally dealt with...
