 Do you still see this problem with the current version, 3.3.8? If so,
 please try with the debug switch and attach the complete output. I don't
 think the output above is showing us the first error.

 sudo port clean ntop
 sudo port selfupdate
 sudo port -d install ntop 2>&1 | tee ~/desktop/ntop.txt
 }}}

 Then, if it still failed, attach ntop.txt from your desktop to this
 ticket.
