Comment:

 I know. Everyone will have the same problem. It's simply broken for now.
 Use the +mysqlnd variant in the php5 port instead of the php5-mysql port
 for now until I fix this.

 I have been told off-list that I can add this to the php5 portfile to fix
 it:

 {{{
 configure.env-append    PHP_MYSQLND_ENABLED=yes
 }}}

 I have not tested that sufficiently to know whether that is enough to make
 it work.
