Comment:

 This is fixed in r56583.  Builds cleanly with 2.63 and 2.64.

 The problem was old cruft in the ghc autoconf macros. Upstream HEAD builds
 for 2.63 and 2.64, so
 when 6.12 comes out we should still be OK.
