 I agree.  I didn't see those before.  For some reason, I can only find
 them through google.  Searches on macports brings up this ticket, and your
 links seem to be dead.

 20816 says fixed and for some reason, I can't tell what it is.  There
 still doesn't seem to be a fix for 21706 either.
