 openssl +universal fails on Tiger PPC because the SDK is not being used.
 The portfile has some code that used to add the SDK using the
 ${universal_sysroot} variable, but that variable disappeared with MacPorts
 1.8.0. MacPorts is still providing the SDK and all other needed settings
 in the configure environment variables, but the port doesn't seem to be
 using them.
