 I understand that 2.0.0-rc1 may have come from their stable branch, but it
 is not a stable version; it's a release candidate of a stable version.
 [http://bluefish.openoffice.nl/download.html Their download page states]
 that 1.0.7 is the latest stable version. My recommendation remains that
 the bluefish port should only be for stable versions, and that bluefish-
 devel should be used for any other versions. See precedent in ports like
 php5 & php5-devel, speex & speex-devel, scala & scala-devel, grails &
 grails-devel, dynamips & dynamips-devel.

 Feel free to submit a diff for bluefish-devel in this ticket (no need to
 open a new ticket).
