Comment:

 Dirac works for me.  The problem that you are having is with the building
 of texlive (which requires texlive_base).  This is a
 know problem that has been recently fixed (this weekend).  Please make
 sure you have updated (sync/svn) your ports to the latest
 revision.  Then try installing texlive_base directly.  If you succeed
 there then you can proceed with the rest.  See #18166.
