 Does
 /opt/local/var/macports/sources/rsync.macports.org/release/ports/PortIndex
 in fact exist?  If not make sure to 'port sync' since that is what updates
 what's in
 /opt/local/var/macports/sources/rsync.macports.org/release/ports.
