After more than 2 hours, "sudo port -d install anjuta" crashed with the
error messages contained in the attached file.

100 dependencies so it isn't surprising that it would take some time, and
as you've now seen, using {{{-d}}} can be much more verbose in what's
happening than without. Also note there's a {{{-v}}} option which is
between {{{-d}}} and no option, as far as verbosity goes.
