 Strange, I have libpng @1.2.34_0 installed here and `otool -L` tells me:

 /opt/local/lib/libpng12.0.dylib (compatibility version 35.0.0, current
 version 35.0.0)
 }}}
 What does `port installed libpng` say for you?
