 Which Portfile did you tried, which variants? The Portfile originally
 commited by illogic-al enabled X11 ''and'' lanchd, which was not my
 intension (see [#comment:3]). In addition there are now some further
 changes, see r45210, r45229 and r45230.

 Normally dbus autolaunch should work now for X11 and native applications
 if it was compiled without X11 support and your user executed `launchctl
 load /Library/LaunchAgents/org.freedesktop.dbus-session.plist` like the
 post-activation message suggests. (Under the premise that gnucash don't
 try a custom, non-standard autolaunch, in which case it would be a gnucash
 bug)
