 I there, I've attached the build debug file and today it builds just fine,
 cf. http://trac.macports.org/attachment/ticket/17990/tk_build.txt

 I wonder if it did have some paths for XCode 3.1.1 tools cached and the
 new version didn't take effect until now...

 Anyway, besides an activation error because of an existing tk version
 everything seems to work now - weird.
