 Since MacPorts 1.7.0 has been released, we now have the merge() procedure
 at our disposal with which we might be able to clean this up some. Also
 see #17972 for another approach to this kind of universal building.

 You should supply diffs, not entire Portfiles, so we can see what you're
 changing, and also you mustn't assume MacPorts is installed in /opt/local;
 use the ${prefix} variable instead.
