 agreed -- I've removed the variant in favor of making loadable extensions
 available by default; the sqlite homepage states, that the '''interface'''
 is experimental and might be subject to change (though unlikely meanwhile,
 as it seems);

 version 3.6.10, revision 1 is the 1st to be build like that;
