 Thats interesting because when I do [[BR]]
 sudo launchctl list | grep dbus[[BR]]
 I do NOT see any output (no org.macports.dbus is running under root)[[BR]]
 And my gnu cash starts up with only the messages:

 gnc.bin-Message: main: binreloc relocation support was disabled at
 configure time.

 Found Finance::Quote version 1.13
