Disable the current boost by doing 'sudo port deactivate boost'
Compile 1.36.0 by doing 'sudo port edit boost' and changing the version
number.
Install by doing 'sudo port install boost checksum.skip=yes' or just add
the proper checksum. If you do a 'port -d install boost' you'll have a
variety to choose from.
I compiled and tested 1.36 this way and it worked for me. Good luck.
4.2.0's just a couple days away!
@mcalhoun I like this boost-compat idea as things will probably break
again once a new version of boost is out.
